Over the last ten years as a result of a debilitating two-year bout with chronic insomnia, I became fascinated with sleep and the human mind, achieving a practicing license for CBTi (Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia).
Furthering my education, I began taking courses on the neurobiology of sleep and participate in several groups centered around sleep research. I also served six years on the Better Sleep Council of ISPA, working with many of the leaders in the sleep science field. All of which served as the foundation for Discover Sleep and more importantly, allowed me to overcome my insomnia.
